The AI Student-Builder Loop

Why mixing study and shipping is my unfair advantage.

AILearningEngineering

Two Worlds, One Feedback Loop

Studying AI gives me frameworks. Shipping products gives me constraints. The loop between both gives me better decisions.

What Changes in Practice

When I learn a concept in class, I quickly pressure-test it in a product context:

  • Is this robust enough for users?
  • Can this be debugged by a team?
  • What are failure modes in production?

Takeaway

Learning becomes practical only when it survives contact with real users.

Current Focus

  • Building AI applications at Heimat24
  • Studying AI in Germany
  • Shipping Swift + Next.js apps

I build software people actually use. Most days I am shipping AI workflows, retrieval systems, and product features, then heading back to class to study modern AI systems.
